Grand Opening
The GRiZMAS Workshop opens its doors to kick off GRiZMAS 2019 on Tuesday 12/3 at 5PM, and will be open for the remainder of GRiZMAS from 10AM - 6PM every day. Located at 1301 Broadway in the heart of Downtown Detroit, his charity pop up shop serves as the holiday headquarters for all things GRiZMAS. Feels great knowing that 100% percent of the proceeds from every purchase in store goes toward supporting the Seven Mile organization, engaging local Detroit youth in creative music and arts programs. You can donate to our ongoing coat & toy drive and drop off items daily, shop holiday gifts, purchase and customize exclusive GRiZMAS merch, enjoy our donation-based gift wrapping station, participate in community projects and tons of other activities all while hanging out and sipping on some custom GRiZMAS Blend coffee!
Killer Crafts & Cocktails
We are excited to debut our first ever Killer Crafts & Cocktails! Sign up for a guided expressive arts workshop lead by Taylor Kamen Beardsall where you will be creating your own killer awesome craft! Taking place at the Former Kresge Estate at 74 Arden Park, purchase advance tickets for $30 which include your handmade craft and delicious ice cream custom made by our good friends at High Road Craft Ice Cream. And while you’re at it you can enjoy a complimentary specialty cocktail or mocktail by Detroit’s Finny Baby!
Taylor Beardsall is a certified Art Therapist (ATR) and Yoga Teacher. She provides creative mind-body services for individuals, groups, and organizations. Taylor is a founder and art therapist at Solstice Healing Arts Collective, an expressive arts therapies studio in Bloomfield Hills, MI. In art therapy she utilizes tenets of mindfulness, as well as a humanistic and positive psychology approach. Through these approaches, she accompanies participants as a non-judgmental, fully present, and supportive facilitator on their journey of using art-making for healing.

GRiZMAS Dodgeball
Tournament
For the first time ever, we are STOKED to rally the local community for a wonderfully fun and competitive dodgeball tournament in partnership with Come Play Detroit and the Durfee Innovation Society at Detroit’s historic Durfee Elementary School. Space is limited, so gather a team of 6-8, sign up and come ready to dip, dodge, dive, dunk.... and dodge your way to the GRiZMAS Dodgeball hall of fame. If you are not participating come enjoy the games and cheer on your favorite team!

Yoga
Align your body and elevate your mind with GRiZ and friends as Citizen Yoga leads pop up yoga in the historic Fisher Theatre. This will be a special morning of breath work and yoga inside one of Detroit's most beautiful destinations. Citizen Yoga’s staff will lead class accompanied by the soothing ambient tunes of Mehul. As a special treat, the yoga session will finish with a guided meditation experience by GRiZ himself. So grab your yoga mat, get ready to heat up, and don’t forget to sign up in advance as this event is sure to sell out.
Local Mic Night
Ft. Great Lakes Coffee
Back again as one of our favorite charitable events, we are partnering with the Detroit Institute for Music Education (DIME) for the second edition of GRiZMAS Local Mic Night. Taking place at the [email protected], come and enjoy performances from local poets, musicians, comedians, DIME students and GRiZ Fam! Our goal is to raise money for our charity partner while spreading creativity and showcasing amazing local Detroit talent. Tickets are on sale online and at the door for $10, however you can buy a bag of original GRiZMAS Blend coffee at the door to get in FREE. Yup, just buy a full bag of coffee at the door and receive free entry.

Grab your jingle bells, warm up those vocal chords, and get ready to join GRiZ and friends for a never before seen exclusive jazz caroling show including your favorite holiday songs and …. some GRiZ covers?? This is an extremely intimate and one of a kind event. Be ready to sing along, join the fun, and share your holiday cheer!
HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS:Tickets will be available in-person ONLY at the GRiZMAS Workshop for $60 (located at 1301 Broadway in Detroit). The store will be open 10am-6pm every day of GRiZMAS, but there's a very limited supply of tickets & they likely won't last long!
Roller Disco: Prom Edition
That’s right, it’s time to get dressed up to the 9’s, bring a group, ask a date, or roll stag! Either way it’s time to spice up your GRiZMAS 2019 with Roller Disco: Prom Edition. Grab a ticket which includes roller skate rental, enjoy groovy tunes, and roll with GRiZ and friends at Bonaventure all night long! This night promises to be one for the books. And don’t forget to dress the part! You could win a special prize for best dressed.
SPECIAL PROM VIP PACKAGES AVAILABLE: For the first 24 people to purchase the PROM VIP PACKAGE, you and a party bus full of PROM PARTIERS will embark on a classic prom evening beginning at a Downtown Detroit pick up location, stopping at the famous Buddy’s Pizza restaurant for a classic prefixed prom dinner included in your ticket price, and then arriving at Bonaventure to roll out the red carpet for pictures and skating with the rest of the PROMERS. VIP PROM ATTENDEES will board the bus back to Detroit directly after the roller disco concludes.
