It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Celebrate The GRiZMAS Workshop charity pop-up store Grand Opening with GRiZ and friends. Can you think of a better way to kick off the first day of GRiZMAS!? Neither can we. This special evening event opens to the public at 5PM, but we’ll be open for the rest of GRiZMAS from 10AM - 6PM daily. Located in the heart of Downtown Detroit at 1265 Griswold, this store serves as the holiday headquarters for all things GRiZMAS. Rejoice, knowing this store is donating 100% of proceeds from every purchase to supporting the Seven Mile organization, engaging local Detroit youth in creative music and arts programs. Donate to our ongoing coat & toy drive and drop off items daily, shop holiday gifts, bid on the charity auction, purchase and customize exclusive GRiZMAS merch, enjoy a donation-based gift wrapping station and tons of other activities, all while hanging out in the lounge and sipping on some custom GRiZMAS Roast coffee with Detroit’s Coffeehaus!

Let’s get crafty! Enjoy a guided painting experience with Detroit community leader, painter, and SMILE Brand creator Phillip Simpson. It’s like painting with a twist, have a drink, paint your own art piece, and take it home at the end of the night. Your ticket includes a complimentary cocktail, paint and brushes to use, canvas & easel to take home the amazing art piece you create, and of course a big ole smile on your face because you get to make art with friends :) A new edition to the 12 Days of GRiZMAS program and sure to be one of our favorite activities to date. And we’re stoked to host the first ever arts & crafts event at Big Pink!

Join us for a fun night at one of Detroit’s hottest spots. This place is styled from wall to wall with blacklight neon decor by internationally recognized artist collaboration FAILE. It’s not mandatory to sign up and sing Karaoke, but it’s definitely encouraged. Cheer on your friends, have some drinks, and get Deluxx. The first ever GRiZMAS karaoke event, ever. Warm up that arm, stretch out those legs, and register now for a super-fun and friendly charity dodgeball tournament in partnership with Come Play Detroit and the Durfee Innovation Society at Detroit’s historic Durfee Elementary School. Space is limited, so register your team of 6-8 and get ready to dodge, dive, dip, duck…. and dodge your way to the GRiZMAS Dodgeball hall of fame! Don’t wanna compete? No sweat, feel free to attend as a spectator at no charge. Cheer on your favorite team and see who will take home the grand prize trophy! Balance your body and mind and treat yourself to an hour of big yummy delicious breaths and restorative yoga postures with GRiZ and friends as Citizen Yoga leads multiple in-person charity yoga sessions throughout the day. Check out class times and find a yoga session that fits your schedule, then let Citizen Yoga’s incredible teachers lead you inside the beautiful Fountain Ballroom in Detroit’s historic Masonic Temple! As a special treat, the yoga sessions will finish with a lil guided meditation experience led by GRiZ. So grab your yoga mat, get ready to heat up, and don’t forget to sign up in advance as these sessions are sure to be packed!
So GRiZ and his pals had such a blast last year they just haaaaaad to do it again... Join us for a sensational live evening jam with GRiZ & Friends! Limited amount of tickets available as this is an extremely intimate event, hosted at El Club in southwest Detroit. The music will be great, and they also have a very good pizza at El Club, like for real the pizza is stellar. Def grab yourself a slice. Sing along with a few holiday songs and let GRiZ’s best jam band buds jam out and basically jam all night long.
That’s right, a brand new GRiZMAS event we couldn't be more excited for! Meet us in the heart of Downtown Detroit at The Rink at Campus Martius Park for a family-friendly evening of ice skating fun. Located on Woodward Avenue, The Rink offers one of the most beautiful and iconic skating experiences in the country and continues to be a top destination for the entire region and State of Michigan. Take in the dramatic backdrop of the skyline and Detroit’s Christmas Tree, gather your friends, sip on some hot cocoa, and enjoy an evening skate with GRiZ! Ice skate rental is not included in your ticket and is available on site when you arrive.
It’s showtime! Truly one of our favorite events, enjoy a star-studded evening showcase of incredible local Detroit talent for the 4th edition of GRiZMAS Local Mic Night. Hosted at the beautiful and intimate Willis Show Bar, this event features performances from local poets, musicians, comedians, vocalists and GRiZ Fam! Our goal is to raise money for our charity partner while spreading creativity and elevating amazing local Detroit talent. Advance tickets available online. We’ll have Coffeehaus on site serving up free samples of the new GRiZMAS Roast charity coffee!
